Progress
on the Estates Building
Work on the new building upgrade at the College is progressing nicely, with the walls already up to head height. Hopefully we will see the new library and teaching facilities in operation by the end of March 2010.

The new computer lab was officially opened on the 1st of October
2009. Here are a few photos which illustrate the progress
of refurbishment.

At the end of 2008 the Third year students at the College
went on a Personal Growth Retreat to Hogsback, where they renewed
themselves, body, mind and soul ...

For our community building half-day on 3 June, our counsellor
Tonia organised a bible quiz and bible charades. Together
with the fun and games, the college also enjoyed a spit braai,
which was more like feeding the five thousand ...

This Bible quiz seems much more difficult
than giving a class |

Setting the ground rules |

Mmm, does it have something to do with God? |

Tefo ... it's difficult to explain
something
without words |

Kevin from Mauritius ... maybe the answer lies over

Darian: it's my 3rd year at College but these questions
are making my head heavy! |

Our Scout Troop has enjoyed lots of fun outings and activities
already this year ...

Making bird boxes and bird tables
to sell at the Autumn
Fair |

At the SciFest Exhibition, the cubs learned about
sharks ... |

... and mechanics |

Our garden project began with
getting rid of weeds
that were
taller than the cubs themselves! |

Planting bearns and spinach,
carrots, tomatoes and
cabbages |

During a visit to the Meadery, the
cubs learned about
bee-keeping |
