COTT Diploma in Theology and Ministry
: 2-3 years
The Purpose of the COTT Diploma in Theology & Ministry is to prepare learners for ministry in the church and the wider community, both lay and ordained.
Pursuit of this qualification will enable learners to grow in their knowledge and understanding of the Christian faith, the Church and society. The qualification also seeks to promote the self-development of the learner, so that s/he will be equipped with the theoretical and practical skills necessary to live a life of service and transformation in the church and the local community.
As such the COTT Diploma in Theology & Ministry provides a broad foundation for Christian ministry, from which learners may go on to develop themselves, the church and society as a whole.
Whilst sufficient courses may be completed in a two year period to qualify for the COTT DipTh&Min, the growth expected of those who will minister to others in a Christ-like manner takes time; and so the College urges its learners to make the most of the opportunity afforded them by the three year learning programme.

The qualification is designed for those seeking to pursue ministry in the church, although it will be of interest to all who want to explore their faith in more detail.
